Following the First Minister's update today, Scottish Golf is now in a position to provide all Clubs with Phase 3 Guidance for all Golf Clubs and Golfers as Scotland continues to transition through its route map out of lock down. The following changes are effective: From tomorrow, Friday 10 July:
Groups of up to four golfers with no restrictions on the number of households represented provided they adhere to the Government’s physical distancing rules.
The driving range and net are back in use however members must use their own sanitiser before and after use.
The raised cups are still in use
No cups are allowed on the potting green to minimise contact
Flags Sticks remain permanently in the hole. Only touch the flag stick to centre it using a glove or a towel.
The bunkers remain in play. as rakes are not in use smooth the sand with your foot or club the best you can. The committee continues with the local rule of preferred lies in bunkers.
All other phase 2 restrictions remain in place.
Social distancing must be adhered to at all times.
Only Members are allowed to play. Sorry still no guests allowed until we are given clearance by the Scottish Government.
